Ages
The ENgage event is designed for Alliance Youth district point people. All district point people (including additional atendees) must first be approved by district leadership.

Registration includes 4 nights lodging and 11 meals beginning with dinner on Saturday and ending with breakfast on Wednesday.
All rooms are based on double-occupancy. If you do not provide us with a name under "roomate preference" one will be selected for you. If for any reason you need a room for yourself (family coming, etc.) you will be billed at the $89 per night rate.
Transportation
Aiport and on-site transportation will be provided (if flight itinerary is received by 11/01/09) Please arrive into Colorado Springs on 11/14 by 5:00PM MT and depart anytime on 11/18. Please do not book your flight to depart on the 17th.
Cancellations/Refunds
Your 25% deposit is non-refundable. If you need to cancel your registration for any reason, please call Carrie Reinhard at 719.262.5457 no later than 11/01/09.

Rick Lawrence
Rick Lawrence has been editor of GROUP Magazine for 21 years and is the co-leader, along with Doug Fields of Saddleback Church, of The Simply Youth Ministry Conference. GROUP is the world’s most widely read resource for Christian youth leaders, and was honored with a 1st place award for Editorial Excellence by Folio, the magazine industry’s umbrella organization. In his role as “Youth Ministry Champion” at Group Publishing, he leads the organization’s expeditionary efforts to challenge, encourage, and equip youth pastors. He created GROUP Magazine Live, a series of nationwide youth ministry training workshops, and co-hosts “The Youth Ministry Podcast,” available on youthministry.com.Rick has authored hundreds of magazine articles and is the author, co-author, or editor of 31 books. He co-authored The Family Friendly Church (1998), IT: Innovative Tools for Youth Ministry (2004), and Youth Ministry In the 21st Century (2005). He’s authored TrendWatch (2000), JC Q’s: 150 Jesus-Centered Discussion Questions (2006), Jesus-Centered Youth Ministry (2007), the adult small-group curriculum In Pursuit of Jesus (2007), Make Their Day (2009), and Ten Tough Things (2009)—all published by Group Publishing. He’s a consultant to national research organizations and a frequent conference and workshop speaker. He has been interviewed by national publications and media outlets including The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, The New York Times, Homeword with Jim Burns, Dennis Rainey’s FamilyLife Today, and the Moody Bible Institute radio network, among others.
He’s married to Beverly Rose and has a 11-year-old daughter named Lucy Rose and a 6-year-old daughter named Emma Grace.

Luke Bodley
Luke grew up in Longmont, CO and graduated from Skyline High School. He has been married to his wife Lola for 5 years. They have a 2-year-old son. Luke was the president of a marketing company called Vibrant Promotions for 4 years. He basically came along-side businesses and helped them generate more income by producing more sales leads through consultation, design, print and web.Now Luke is in transition from his marketing company to becoming a full-time missionary and raising support. This is no easy process!
The Lord gave Luke the vision for Heaven Fest while driving home from the Cornerstone Music festival in 2006. Since then a whole plethora of things has happened. Luke is the Executive Producer of Heaven Fest.
Luke’s heart is to come along side Christian ministries and Churches and help them with the knowledge he has incurred over the years as a Business and Marketing Consultant. He does best in 1on1 and small group situations. Feel free to contact Luke if you would be interested setting something up.

Dr. Larry McKinney
Dr. Larry J. McKinney, a native of Farmington, Pennsylvania, holds a Bachelor of Science in Bible from Philadelphia Biblical University (1972), a Master of Arts in Educational Ministries from Wheaton College (1974), and a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Administration from Temple University (1986).McKinney is the President of Simpson University in Redding, California, a Christian liberal arts institution that serves approximately 1,350 students. He previously served as Executive Director of the Association for Biblical Higher Education in Orlando, FL from 2001-2006, President of Providence College and Seminary in Otterburne, Manitoba (CANADA) from 1993-2001, and as Vice President for Student Development at Philadelphia Biblical University in Langhorne, PA from 1980-1993. Prior to entering a career in Christian higher education, he worked as the Executive Director of Fay-West Youth for Christ in Uniontown, PA from 1972-1980. He also has ten years of experience as a part-time pastor.
In addition to his responsibilities with Simpson University, he also engages in teaching and public speaking for institutions of higher education, churches, and conferences. He has written numerous articles for educational and leadership journals and authored Equipping for Service: A Historical Account of the Bible College Movement in North America.
He is actively involved with the Association of Independent California Colleges and Universities, the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities, the Council of Independent Colleges, the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities, The American Association of Presidents of Independent Colleges & Universities, and Rotary. Organizations where he has previously served in leadership roles include: the Association of Canadian Bible Colleges, the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada, the International Council for Evangelical Theological Education, the Council for Higher Education Accreditation, and the NAICU Secretariat.
Larry and his wife, Debbie, reside in Redding, California. They have been married for 37 years. Debbie, also a graduate of Philadelphia Biblical University, has spent twenty years as an elementary teacher and early childhood teacher.
They have two married children Jason (34) and Jamie (32), and four grandchildren. The McKinneys consider themselves “CanAmericans” because they have lived in and hold citizenship in both Canada and the United States.

Jason Ostrander
Jason Ostrander is a veteran youth pastor from the Pacific Northwest. He has been married to his wife Calu for ten years and they have two boys Liam and Jams. As an experienced speaker and filmmaker Jason has traveled all around the world, but is most excited about his recent opportunity to serve as the national youth director for Alliance Youth.

Dave and Tara Powers
Dave and Tara Powers are the founders and directors of Worship and the Word Movement. Dave was raised on a farm in northern Colorado, and Tara grew up in several states around the midwest. Their son, Hunter, is three years old. For a decade, Dave has been leading worship at home and abroad and currently volunteers as a pastor at Northern Hills Christian Church in Brighton, Colorado.
